    Cheers Dave. ;)

Cass hardly ever plays in this country (most of his bookings are in the US, Oz or Asia) so don't miss this rare opportunity to see him in your hometown at one of the best clubs in the city.

Newcastle based producer Futurity will be playing his own special brand of tech-house 'live' from his laptop using the new Ableton software and I'll be setting the scene with my own Fragile sound of 'Forward Thinking House, Tech-House & Breaks'! :D

Check out next months Crack magazine and local press for more details nearer the time and for a little taster of what's to come, the next FREE Fragile @ Stereo is the week before Cass on Weds 1st September with:

    Gareth Hocking (Resistance)
    Scott Udberg (Drop Product)
Neil Bainbridge (HMV Newcastle Vinyl Buyer)
+ some dude called Paul Lancaster (Fragile)

Nah, the last time they played, just a few months ago. They were pretty good from what I heard, but I spent most of the night downstairs

im not sure weather it has improved are got worse. As far as propper club nights i think 586 has hit the nail on the head. We only realley have shindig and promise and nice again now but for how long? and as spence said sunno but is that a regular thing or once in a while im not sure it has got worse . I think it might be the case that its just stood still ;)

there's going to be lots of good stuff when the students get back. newcastle is a completely different place when they aren't here. world hq is a good club with a good soundsystem but is no where near as good as foundation. august is always a shite month, september starts to pick up but it's october when the promoters wheel out the big names. you watch we'll all be complaining about having too much choice and being skint in a couple of months.

i think that the only way forward up here is fabric style lineups giving choice for everyone. otherwise the best option would be to support the smaller underground nights, like the ones at the stage door.

I dont think Foundation can have 2 nights on @ the same time due the bogs upstairs being in the main room, it would be a nightmare to police it.

But if there is nothing on in the main room then the small room should be up for hire
