no amount of booze made me enjoy it. my mate was visiting newcastle for the first time too, had took him around all the good bars and the lot! got there... and it stank.

thoughtless mixing, no structure... was dissapointed he had a bad day when we were there. i'm not going to call him. or any DJ. he had a bad day.

Haha I was just gonna say that.

In all fairness I've done that before, went out and thought a DJ was good/bad who didn't turn up. If you don't know what they look like and don't really check the set times it's an easy mistake to make! :p

that tunes a joke. It's still all over the posters for DJ Falcon every time he plays (usually @ genre). It always says underneath his name (so much love to give). It's not something to be proud of

true, but you know it's bad when a costa del consett DJ won't touch it with a ten foot barge pole ;)

i reckon it's an ace record, falcon and bangalter make the kind of simple effective filter disco sample loop house that other producers can only dream of:cool2:

I have witnessed some appaling sets like, seen some DJ's totally totally kill a night - others generally just make a tit of themselves.

I cant really remem one that stands out cos there's been alot.

There DJ's tho and are getting paid for it, i am not  - saying that on some nights i could of probs done alot better.

Its worse when its a massive night like a themed night or NYE or summit tho, when the anticipations huge but the end product is fucking rotten

    There has been a few!

Judge Jules last year when he was on after A + B, braught the tempo right down, totally spoiled the atmosphere!

    Re: Re: Re: Worst Set?

im giving my honest answer the same as everyone else.

the reason you would put £50 on it is because you remember me posting at the time how bad of a set i thought you played.

    Aha! That was it!

    Apologies to Ronald then. :D

Actually when i wrote that i had a feeling it wasnt quite right, but wrote it anyway. Aye, he was totally unprofessional, didnt play to suit his time slot. I just remember walking in, my ears being in pain, and being just so relieved when he finished.
