Interesting to read the HUGE contrast in post counts between the 2 threads: Clubbing pet hates / Things you love about Clubbing.

Says a lot about up here imo...

When the lights come on at 3am and you realise that that room full of beautiful people are in fact all gurning AIDs victims, yourself included.

When you're that buckled that even water tastes funny.

Glass collectors with afros that get above their station.

Getting raped by door entry fees and bar prices, the best nights I have had have been residents nights when its like £4-6 entry.

Digital - "the fabric of the north" ffs! At which point did fabric find itself innovative enough to start aiming itself at the party crowds doing free entry before 12 and playing chart and party on a world class soundsystem. What a set of wankers! Use the place properly or you might as well close it down and let the smaller clubs and events try and hold decent nights

Dj's with stupid names like 'whosaidthat' and 'dj hostile virus'. It's no surprise that the majority of dj's guilty of this play hard house either

I think thats because the english tend to like to bitch about stuff, rather than face facts and accept that growing up and clubbing doesnt mix for the majority.

Looking at my bank balance after the night. Crap soundsystems and Dj's that redline mixers so even decent one's sound distorted. Scene politics be it Gabber,Minimal,Psy or what ever wish poeple would have a dance instead of trying to get more gigs or people into there's at the expense of other peoples.
Saying that the friends music and general crazily funny times normally always override the negative parts.
