The vast majority of Indians are Hindu. Only around 2% are Sikh. As it is one of the most populous countries in the world, I guess I would have expected people to know that it is mosly Hindu. Oh well.

I never liked RE at school! There was far more important things to be learning.

It isn't something I learnt in RE, it's just general knowledge. That's what I mean though, so many people on here don't have a bloody clue about anything that is beyond their direct experience.

It's something I don't really want to know, religion is the main cause of most of the trouble in the world and it's all aload of bullshit.

what a pathetic show of blatant PC hysteria fuelled by the media !!! most of this has been blown out of all proportion , burning effigies and such , what happen last year when (in not so many words) Barrymore was being called a fag murderer and Jody marsh was being slated the fuck out of , but that's ok cos it was white on white ??? I don't think so! when all this kicked off it was just four bitchy egotistical girls in one building and nowhere to go AND THAT'S THAT ! it just so happens that one of them was a stuck-up Indian who thought she was better that anyone else , I mean where was the the racial outcry when Jarmane called the girls "WHITE TRASH" did we see a street protest with burning endomol and C4 producers in Dagenham , no it just go's to show what a pathetic world we are living in. Now I don't for one minute condone bullies in any way shape or form, what the girls were doing was wrong FACT! but it was NOT underlined racism , they DID NOT bully her solely because she was Asian !! her snobbish ways contrasted all what the other girls are use to and it was intimidation from that snobbery produced this reaction .
